I’m greatly indebted to the SACCO and God. Satisfaction is relative and depends on an individual.
I started working with USAID in February 2005 and was encouraged by colleagues to join the Association which I did and saved right away.
After a year of saving in July 2006 I received my first loan, purchased a plot in the suburbs of Kampala, constructed a servant’s quarter of 3 rooms within a period of two months and quit renting, this was one of my greatest achievements. Having secured where to stay in Kampala, I had to organize also my upcountry ancestral home, which I did towards 2007. By 2010, I built the main house and bought a car to ease on the transport. As years have passed, I have acquired other plots of land. The greatest achievement above is being able to educate my children in good schools of their preference up to university level with the help of the SACCO. Once again, I sincerely thank God for the SACCO.
